Michael Andrew was until recently the Chief Talent and Leadership Development Officer with the Al Faisaliah Group, a private investment holding company owned by members of the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia.
Previously, Andrew was the Group Vice President for Talent and Leadership Development for Emirates Telecommunications (Etisalat), a US$18 billion multi-national, UAE-based telecom company where he was responsible for the development and succession management of the company’s Operating CEOs, Board Directors, the entire C-Suite of executives and VPs, Directors and Hi-Potential Leaders. He was an Advisory Board member for the Etisalat Academy and a member of the Global HR Strategy Committee.
Andrew was also head of the Global Leadership Institute for Rockwell Automation. As a business owner and consultant, he led efforts with Fortune 500 and global firms in creating and implementing high-profile, strategic leadership initiatives built around each business’ strategic imperatives and pressing business challenges.
He has coached Board Directors, senior executives and McKinsey consultants around the world by offering practical insights and actionable solutions. Andrew is the author of two books, How To Think Like A CEO and Act Like a Leader (2008) and The Greatest Leader He Ever Saw (2016), a fable about character-based leadership.
