Shane Horgan has been passionate about sport all his life, representing Meath at Minor football level and achieving success as a Juvenile All-Ireland Cross Country Athletics Champion.
In his international rugby career Shane has represented Leinster 207 times and is the first Leinster player to reach the double century mark. He has 87 Heineken Cup appearances, scoring 27 tries, has represented Ireland 68 times and has played in three Triple Crown winning sides.
Shane is a qualified lawyer specialising in arbitration and mediation. During his playing career he took a keen interest in the business side of sport, lecturing at Trinity College on Sports Alternative Dispute Resolution. He acts as a business culture and values advisor to high performance units within leading companies including Brandstone and Heineken.
He is Director of Bash Media and founding Director of Liberty Films, one of Ireland's leading independent production companies.
Shane was a key part of the now famous corporate culture process at Leinster Rugby which took that organisation to significant international success. Shane now speaks to international audiences for global companies on leadership, motivation and the success of the corporate culture at Leinster rugby. His clients include HSBC, Veolia, Guinness and Volkswagon.
