Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez is a renowned banking strategist and was Head of Post Merger Integration at BNP Paribas Fortis, leading what was the then largest takeover in financial services history: the acquisition of ABN AMRO.
He is one of the top executive education leaders in the world and also lectures at leading business schools such as Instituto de Empresa, Solvay and Vlerick. He has delivered executive programs to leaders of more than 30 multinationals on how to improve their strategy execution and project management capabilities. In 2013 Antonio was elected as a Director on the Board of Directors of the Project Management Institute and he is now the current ViceChair of the Board. In addition, Antonio is Director Head of the Program Management Office at GlaxoSmithKline.
Antonio has participated in many leading Strategy Conferences often with Bob Kaplan, founder of the Balanced Scorecard. He has also shared the stage with other leaders like Donald Tusk, president of the European Council. Over the past 10 years he has spoken at more than 100 conferences around the world and is often evaluated as the best speaker.
Antonio is a best selling author of a book on strategy execution: "The Focused Organization". He has been featured in several magazines, including Singapore Management Institute, Strategy Business Review and The Economist. Prior to his career at BNP, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior manager for 10 years.
