Getz is a Professor at the top-ranked ESCP Europe Business School with campuses in Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Turin, and Warsaw. He was formerly a Visiting Professor at Cornell and Stanford, and at the University of Massachusetts.
The French National Foundation for the Management and Business Education (FNEGE) 2016 study on the world 50 most influential living management thinkers ranked Isaac Getz at N°4.
His book "Freedom, Inc.: How Corporate Liberation Unleashes Employee Potential and Business Performance" which he co-authored with Brian Carney, has been translated in 9 languages and acclaimed by world leading media. Its French edition won the best strategy book award in 2013 and stayed at the top 3 bestselling management books for over 3 years.
His work and action have been instrumental to the rise of corporate liberation movement in Europe. It includes Michelin, Airbus, Decathlon, several Belgian ministries, French Social Security, municipalities, and hundreds other companies and institutions which transformed their command-and-control organisations into freedom- and responsibility-based ones. This movement has been covered in a series of prime-time leading TV programmes and documentaries.
Dr. Getz is an active speaker on the topics of corporate transformation/liberation, post-managerial organization, and radical leadership and has spoken to hundreds of companies and institutions on four continents.
