James Rickards is the Editor of Strategic Intelligence, a financial newsletter, and Director of The James Rickards Project, an enquiry into the complex dynamics of geopolitics and global capital.
Rickards is the author of three New York Times best sellers, The Road to Ruin, The Death of Money, and Currency Wars, and the national best seller, The New Case for Gold. He is an investment advisor, lawyer and economist, and has held senior positions at Citibank, Long-Term Capital Management, and Caxton Associates. In 1998, he was the principal negotiator of the rescue of LTCM sponsored by the Federal Reserve.
James Rickards is currently involved on AI predictive analytics for financial markets – the so called 3rd wave. He undertakes workshops on predictive analytics and is well versed on the tech side of investment and block chain.
Rickards is also guest lecturer in globalisation and finance at The Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, The Kellogg School at Northwestern, and the School of Advanced International Studies. He is an advisor on capital markets to the U.S. intelligence community, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and is on the Advisory Board of the Center on Sanctions & Illicit Finance in Washington DC. His clients include institutional investors, corporations and governments.
